The UK Pallets National Distribution Centre

At the heart of the network, located near Lichfield, is the UK Pallets National Distribution Centre.

The 140,000 sq ft pallet sorting facility is the link between the local collection and delivery services and the national member network. On a nightly basis, over 5,500 pallets are received, sorted and trunked across the network in readiness for next day delivery around the country.

Consignment Control Centre

On the same Fradley site as the National Distribution Centre is UK Pallets' Consignment Control Centre, where a team of trained distribution professionals manage communications across the network and a dedicated team of specialists control and monitor every consignment handled by UK Pallets.

Total Control and Information with UK Pallets On-Line

Accurate, fast information on the delivery status of a consignment is as important as its actual delivery. Up to the minute proof of delivery information is available on line and signed POD documents can be viewed and printed. UK Pallets On-Line is a web based control and information system which means that data on the status of every consignment in the care of UK Pallets is passed between all parts of the network in real time. This allows fast, accurate answers to a query on any consignment, from collection right through to delivery.
