Consumer Delivery
When selling goods online, it’s vital that the delivery carrier extends the good buying experience
through to the goods arriving on the doorstep. At ipostparcels, we want you to be able to give your
customers the choice to arrange delivery to suit them.
The evening before delivery, we send an email or text giving an estimated delivery time window (one
to four hours). The recipient has the option to amend the delivery by using their mobile phone or
visiting manage your delivery.
They can choose to:
- Change the day of delivery for up to five days forward
- Leave the parcel in a safe place
- Arrange to collect from our depot at a time to suit
If there is nobody at the address when we call to deliver and your customer hasn’t opted for their
parcel to be left in a safe place, our driver will ask a neighbour to sign for the parcel and leave
a card to let your customer know where their goods are. We realise that some of our customers would
rather we didn’t leave the items with a neighbour, in this case, simply select ‘Specified address only signature Service’
when entering your consignment and we will only deliver to the address you specify.
Once delivery is complete, a text or email can be sent to you to confirm delivery has been made. To
take advantage of this service, just tick the confirmation of delivery box when entering a consignment.
All these services are complimentary, providing a seamless service to you and your customers.
