Licensed by Postcomm since 2001, UK Mail was the first ever DSA operator and the author of the first ever DSA agreement with Royal Mail. We officially began trading in 2004, effectively ending 370 years of Royal Mail’s monopoly. We now collect up to six million mail items per day for over 700 customers, including a significant number of the UK’s largest mailers.

The business has sort centres, using the very latest letter sorting equipment, at sites in Edinburgh, Runcorn, Leeds, Birmingham, Greenford, Croydon, Barking, Newcastle, Bristol and Swindon. UK Mail’s focus upon service delivery resulted in the business winning the Downstream Access Supplier of the Year Award at the UK Mail Awards in October 2006 and again in October 2007.
